Dr. Abdul Halim, a skilled musician and percussion instructor at Balakrishna Matric Higher Secondary School in Tirunelveli, Tamilnadu State, India, held the annual World's Fastest Drummer India Competition in which his very talented students stepped up to the challenge to see who would claim the title of India's Fastest Drummer for 2020. In the end, Dharun Selvam took the win and this year's title with an astounding score of 935. Ajay Sabarish took second place with 823, and the competition rounded out with Issac Rajan claiming third place with his score of 749. All in all, the competition was a very stunning display of talent and skill that was enjoyed by all.

The winner's from this year's event (shown in the image above) were awarded their certificates by Dr. Halim, Sudalayandi Pillai (school pincipal) and Mr. M. Thivaharan (school correspondant) in a ceremony on March 6th.
